The Food Bank's Stop Summer Hunger Campaign Begins June 2014
Many children in our community know that when school ends, so do the free and reduced-cost meals that get them through the day.
Stop Summer Hunger is a community-wide food and funds drive held during June and July to fill the meal gap during the summertime. These donations help to provide the additional food needed for nearly 300,000 children at-risk of hunger in our 34 counties.
Last year we met our goal of three million meals for these children. This year we have set a goal of 3.2 million meals.
Can we count on you? Stay tuned for ways you can help local kids this summer!
