Legal Feeding Frenzy
March 8 - 27, 2015
The 3rd Annual Legal Feeding Frenzy begins March 8th and challenges attorneys and law organizations across the state to raise the most food and funds for North Carolina's Feeding America food banks. The "Attorney General’s Cup" will be awarded to the group who has collected the most by March 27th. Sign up now and start your food and funds drive today! The food and funds drive is held in memory of Deah Shaddy Barakat, Yusor Mohammad Abu-Salha, and Razan Mohammad Abu-Salha who were killed in Chapel Hill on Tuesday, February 10. Hundreds of prize-filled eggs will adorn the grounds of Cedar Creek Gallery as part of their 47th Annual Spring Pottery and Glass Festival! The eggs will be filled with various treats and prizes, including numbers that correspond to 50 clay and glass eggs handcrafted by Cedar Creek artisans. The search will get underway for adults only at 7:00 pm. The artists have generously donated the eggs in hopes of everyone participating making at least a $5 donation to the Food Bank in order to participate. More details here: www.cedarcreekgallery.com.

The Junior Women's Association of Greenville proudly presents the 5th annual Touch-A-Truck event. Big rigs, emergency vehicles, construction equipment, and all the other big machines that make kids say "whoa!" will be on display from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm in the parking lot area between the Greenville Mall and Yadkin Bank. Tickets are $5 in advance and $7 at the door, with some of the proceeds going to the Food Bank. For more information, visit:

The Food Bank is delighted to partner with Move For Hunger - an organization that offers to pickup unwanted, non-perishable food items during the moving process and deliver them to local food banks. Simply use one of the moving partners in our area and they will provide a box for food items. You can pack it or use their professional moving staff.
