Students Against Hunger

Did you know that almost 50% of students in our 34 county service area qualify for free or reduced-price lunch? It is difficult for any student to excel academically when they come to school hungry. So we invite all students, staff, parents and teachers to join our Students Against Hunger food and funds drive to help feed hungry children and their families in our community. Greenville: Eastern Carolina Fall Food Drive

The Young Professionals of Pitt County, WITN, and Southern Bank are hosting the 5th Annual Eastern Carolina Fall Food Drive to benefit the Greenville community! Make your donation of non-perishable food items at local Walmarts or additional drop off locations in the area and help ensure that families in need do not have to choose between heating their homes and putting food on the table this holiday season. The Food Bank is delighted to partner with Move For Hunger - an organization that offers to pickup unwanted, non-perishable food items during the moving process and deliver them to local food banks. Simply use one of the moving partners in our area and they will provide a box for food items. You can pack it or use their professional moving staff.
