Sort-A-Rama
September 11, 2014
Sort-A-Rama is one of the largest corporate volunteer gatherings in the area. Join Presenting Partners Food Lion, Cisco, BlueCross BlueShield of NC, and BASF to sort 150,000 meals for families in need while fostering community engagement, teamwork, and volunteerism among your employees and/or customers! #FoodBank24: A New Media Telethon
September 26-27, 2014
The date for the third annual 24-Hour Telethon (now named #FoodBank24) has been set for Friday, September 26 starting at 12 noon and airing through September 27 at noon. The Food Bank and Gregory Ng of Freezer Burns are coming together once again to raise food, funds, and awareness as part of the national Hunger Action Month movement. Learn more at foodbank24.org.

Greenville and New Bern: Drive, Drop, and Go Food Drive
Wednesday, July 16
61,000 children in our New Bern and Greenville service areas lose access to school meals during the summer. As part of the Food Bank's Stop Summer Hunger campaign, Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church, and St. Paul’s Episcopal Church are hosting donation drop off locations from 7:30 am - 6:00 pm on July 16. Greenville: The Lil Pirate Exchange Food Drive
Friday, August 8
Join the Lil Pirate Exchange on “Fill the Food Bank” Day at the Greenville Convention Center! Receive $5 off your purchase with a donation of 10 cans, and receive $10 off with a donation of 20 cans! Move For Hunger
The Food Bank is delighted to partner with Move For Hunger - an organization that offers to pickup unwanted, non-perishable food items during the moving process and deliver them to local food banks. Simply use one of the moving partners in our area and they will provide a box for food items. You can pack it or use their professional moving staff. Tickets-for-Charity gives sports and music fans an easy and convenient way to support local food banks while gaining access to great tickets not available anywhere else.
