Students Against Hunger
Did you know that almost 50% of students in our 34 county service area qualify for free or reduced-price lunch? It is difficult for any student to excel academically when they come to school hungry. So we invite all students, staff, parents and teachers to join our Students Against Hunger food and funds drive to help feed hungry children and their families in our community. Heart of Carolina & Drive Through Day
November 21-December 10, 2014
The 28th annual ABC11 Heart of Carolina food drive kicks off on November 21 and wraps up with a Drive Through Day on Wednesday, December 10 at select Kroger stores. Bring your food and cash donations by and meet our team, or watch us on ABC11 from 6:00 am-8:00 pm on December 10. Help us feed families this holiday season! More information coming soon.

Greenville: Eastern Carolina Fall Food Drive

The Young Professionals of Pitt County, WITN, and Southern Bank are hosting the 5th Annual Eastern Carolina Fall Food Drive to benefit the Greenville community! Make your donation of non-perishable food items at local Walmarts or additional drop off locations in the area and help ensure that families in need do not have to choose between heating their homes and putting food on the table this holiday season. The Great American Milk Drive
That gallon of milk you consider a staple in your refrigerator is missing from the homes of many folks in our service area that are food insecure. In partnership with Feeding America, The Great American Milk Drive makes it easy to give a gallon of nutrient-rich milk to the Food Bank with just a click of your mouse! Do some good while you shop! Meals 4 Others is an online specialty food, personal and corporate gift store. Move For Hunger
The Food Bank is delighted to partner with Move For Hunger - an organization that offers to pickup unwanted, non-perishable food items during the moving process and deliver them to local food banks. Simply use one of the moving partners in our area and they will provide a box for food items. You can pack it or use their professional moving staff.
