Students Against Hunger Food & Fund Drive
Almost 50% of students in our 34-county service area qualify for free/reduced-price lunch
It's difficult for any student to excel academically when they come to school hungry. So we invite all students, staff, parents, and teachers to join our Students Against Hunger food and funds drive to help feed hungry children and their families in our community.
Over the past 15 years, students in our area have donated enough to provide nearly 4.8 million meals.
Join the cause
Participants in the Students Against Hunger campaign collect food and funds from October 3 through December 3. Competing schools must deliver their donations to our warehouse by noon on Saturday, December 3, 2016.
A little boost for your competitive side! Besides bragging rights, we have some perks for schools that doante the most meals/student.
2016 Competing Schools:
Bellamy Elementary School
Eppes Middle School
Apex High School
Friends School Of Wilmington
Duke Nicholas School of the Environment
We'll send you everything you need to be successful.
