Did you know that almost 50% of students in our 34 county service area qualify for free or reduced-price lunch?
It is difficult for any student to excel academically when they come to school hungry. So we invite all students, staff, parents and teachers to join our Students Against Hunger food and funds drive to help feed hungry children and their families in our community.
Over the past 14 years, students in our area have donated enough to provide nearly 4.1 million meals.
Join the cause:
Participants in the Students Against Hunger campaign can collect food and funds any time from October through December. Competing schools must deliver their donations to our warehouse by noon on December 6, 2014.
We know y'all like to support the Food Bank so you can help those less fortunate. But here's a little extra boost for your competitive side! Besides bragging rights, winning teams will receive the following:
