Enjoy upscale food stations showcasing local restaurants at the Second Annual Chef's Feast at the Pinehurst Members Club! Premiere Pinehurst chefs present signature dishes, hors d’oeuvres, and desserts - all for a good cause. Funds raised will help provide food for over 41,000 food-insecure individuals in the Sandhills area, including 14,000 children and over 4,000 seniors. 

The Presenting Partner of this evening of culinary delights is long-time Food Bank donor Food Lion. The event will showcase top chefs from Pinehurst Resort, Squire's Pub, Fratellos, the House of Fish Seafood Restaurant, Chef Ivory, Elliotts on Linden, and the Sly Fox Pub.  Food Lion will host a coordinated wine tasting to go along with each signature dish. 

Patrick Kelly from Star 102.5 will serve as the master of ceremonies at the event and entertainment will be provided by A New Creation. In addition to array of food and wine, a silent auction will be held with all proceeds benefiting the Food Bank. The goal of the evening is to fund 137,000 balanced meals to local food-insecure families.

The Sandhills Branch is located at 195 Sandy Avenue in Southern Pines and serves Lee, Moore, Richmond, and Scotland counties where nearly 41,000 individuals live in food insecure households, including almost 14,000 children.  

An International Food and Wine tasting event! Chefs from local restaurants and the Pinehurst Resort are presenting their signature dishes from seven countries - and a French dessert. Coordinated wine tastings for your pleasure are provided by Presenting Sponsor Food Lion. The evening also features live jazz musicfor your listening pleasure, a silent auction with lots of items to consider, and a 50/50 raffle.  

The event will feature two North Carolina food personalities: Scott Mason and Lisa Prince. During the event they will demonstrate their experience and expertise in North Carolina foods and their cultural impact on our state.

Scott Mason, host of 'Tar Heel Traveler' on WRAL-TV
Scott is a 30-year feature reporter who wanders the back roads for WRAL-TV in Raleigh. He loves to eat hot dogs, hamburgers, biscuits, barbecue, donuts, and ice cream in old-timey, mom-and-pop landmarks with faded awnings, creaky floors, and wooden booths. He celebrates these classics in his newest book,Tar Heel Traveler Eats: Food Journeys Across North Carolina(Globe Pequot Press).

Lisa is a talented, engaging, and down to earth food pro on a mission to get North Carolina cooking local again.
