Thank you for joining us for Kids Summer Stock, a community-wide food and funds drive to fight childhood hunger during the summer when kids no longer have access to free and reduced meals through school and school programs. We had a successful series of concerts, festivals and events at each of our branch locations:

Calling all Tweeps! Plan to skip a meal on August 3 and use the savings to fight hunger. Twitter for Food is a worldwide event happening on the 1st Tuesday of every month to raise hunger awareness and support hunger organizations, like the Food Bank! "Tweet" your friends about www.twitterforfood.com or make your donation now through our Give a Meal for a Meal campaign.
 Raleigh Centennial Campus Criterium Series

Participate in this family friendly bike race at NCSU Research Campus on a series of four Sundays this summer from 9 am to noon. Bring a donation of non-perishable food for a $5 discount on the entry fee. Rain or shine! Print the event flyer for more information.
 Camptown RV's Annual Fall Expo

Enjoy a break from the heat and browse Camptown RV'S new 2011 models at the Annual Expo! Travel trailers, fifth wheels, light weight trailers, and toy-haulers... find the RV that is perfect for you and your family! Admission is 5 cans of food for the Food Bank or 5 dollars.  "Fighting Hunger Together" Campaign

As part of Walmart's 5-year "Fighting Hunger Together" initiative, visitors to Walmart's “Fighting Hunger Together” website can join the fight as well. For every plate “shared” on Facebook, Walmart will donate the value of one nutritious meal to Feeding America, up to 1 million meals.  Taste of the Triangle 2010

Join the Carolina Railhawks for the 2nd Annual Taste of the Triangle event! Over 60 restaurants will be contributing signature dishes for this exciting evening. Ticket holders will be able to purchase a $3 wristband for entrance with all proceeds benefiting the Food Bank. The tasting will be held at 6 pm, the game starts at 7 pm.
