Sponsor a Food Drive!

Encourage your company, church, camp, school or neighborhood to get involved with Kids Summer Stock during the months of June and July by sponsoring a Food Drive! Utilize the links below to host a food drive that is imaginative and fun.

Here are some suggestions:

• Pass out grocery bags to your co-workers and have Macaroni Mondays, Tuna Tuesdays, Peanut Butter Week to encourage donations of high protein foods
• Have a competition between departments
• Host a neighborhood yard sale that benefits the Food Bank, offer discounts for donated cans
• Host a party for friends where door prizes would be given for cans of food
• Ask guests to bring cans of food at BBQ's or dinner parties

In addition to collecting food, consider a Virtual Food Drive to compliment your event.  Virtual Food Drives are an excellent way for your friends and family to participate without having to be physically present.
