September is Hunger Action Month!

You can make a difference in 30 Days...

One in six Americans - families, children, the elderly - struggle with hunger in our community. More folks are finding themselves making difficult choices: paying for food or paying for rent, paying for groceries or paying for medicine. More of our neighbors are going hungry.

You can help by joining the Food Bank for Hunger Action Month throughout September! Along with Feeding America, the national network of food banks, we ask you to take action, get involved and share your efforts or news about the campaign! Join us for the 24-Hour LIVE Warehouse Telethon, help Light Up Hunger, or print the 30 Ways in 30 Days Calendar.

Help support the nearly 500,000 individuals who are suffering from hunger in our 34 county service area.  Participate in Hunger Action Month! Together, we can have an immediate and profound effect on our communities.

Here is how you can get involved:

	Share Join us for the 24 Hour LIVE Warehouse Telethon presented by Google+ and FreezerBurns. Share the 30 Facts in 30 Days Twitter Event with friends and family. Use additional Social Media Goodies below!
	Get Involved Print the "30 Ways in 30 Days" Calendar and join forces with your community.  Check out the events listing below!
	Take Action "Light Up Hunger" by replacing exterior lights in your home or office with orange bulbs and placing a Hunger Action Month Flyer in your window. Hold an "Orange Food" day! Wear an orange t-shirt! Send a creative picture & we'll post it to our HAM album.
