EVENTS & FOOD DRIVES
Thanks so much to all who attended our first annual Chef’s Feast event benefiting our Wilmington Branch! Chef Vivian Howard, owner of Kinston-based Chef & the Farmer, appeared thanks to AARP North Carolina along with several local chefs including Chef Keith Rhodes from Catch restaurant. Guests enjoyed a night full of delicious food and drink, all while raising enough funds to provide 135,000 meals to those living with food insecurity in the Wilmington area. It was a wonderful night!
Special thanks to our presenting sponsors Harris Teeter and AARP and all of the amazing chefs who made the night possible! View photos from the event on our Flickr page.
