 Grand Opening Ceremonies, Thursday, July 29, 2:30 pm!
The New Bern Branch held the official grand opening ceremonies on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at 2:30 pm. The event was a great success and we appreciate all those who came out and joined us.
New Bern Opens Its Doors - The New Bern Branch had a successful opening day on July 6, 2010. The day ran smoothly and saw 7 shoppers from 3 of the 5 counties we will service from the new branch. A total of approximately 6900 lbs was distributed - equivalent to over 5,500 meals!
The New Bern branch will strengthen services and offer more accessibility of food and other product to partners such as food pantries, rescue missions, and soup kitchens in Craven, Carteret, Onslow, Pamlico, and Jones Counties. It will also provide local access of food products without incurring the costs of driving to the Greenville warehouse.
