Students Against Hunger
October 3 - December 3

Triangle: Delicious! Book Tour
October 8
Writer Julia Hsu Low and illustrator Suzanne McDermott will be on tour to share their new book, Delicious!. These mouth watering pages bring a singular perspective of vegetables and fruits, local and exotic. Join us at Midtown Farmers Market in the Commons at North Hills from 8 am to 12 pm. Triangle: Food Lion Hunger Relief Day
Thursday, October 20
Bring five cans of Food Lion brand food to the NC State Fair and receive one free admission ticket. Learn more »

Triangle: Talbots Fundraiser
Friday, October 28 (1-4pm)
Join us at Talbots Cameron Village for a fun fall afternoon of shopping. Talbot’s will donate 10% of the days proceeds to the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina.

The Great American Milk Drive
That gallon of milk you consider a staple in your refrigerator is missing from the homes of many folks in our service area that are food insecure. In partnership with Feeding America, The Great American Milk Drive makes it easy to give a gallon of nutrient-rich milk to the Food Bank with just a click of your mouse! Move For Hunger
The Food Bank is delighted to partner with Move For Hunger - an organization that offers to pickup unwanted, non-perishable food items during the moving process and deliver them to local food banks. Simply use one of the moving partners in our area and they will provide a box for food items. You can pack it or use their professional moving staff. Move For Hunger will make arrangements for the items to be delivered to our locations. Read more about Move For Hunger or find a local mover who gives back.
