GREENVILLE BRANCH HOME

The Greenville Branch of the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina serves ten counties in eastern North Carolina. They are Carteret, Craven, Edgecombe, Greene, Jones, Lenoir, Onslow, Pamlico, Pitt & Wilson counties. Edgecombe and Wilson counties are shared with our Raleigh Branch. Carteret, Craven, Jones, Onslow, and Pamlico are shared with our New Bern Branch.

Last fiscal year, over 8.8 million pounds of food was distributed to 94 agencies in those counties. The Food Bank at Greenville operates three trucks that traveled over 85,423 miles last year. Volunteers donated over 36,733 hours of their time last year, equivalent to over 17 full-time employees.

In the counties served by the Greenville branch, over 103,000 individuals are at risk of hunger: 61,000 are children and over 7% are 65 years and over.
