On Veterans Day, the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, and our Wake County legislative delegation joined us in Raleigh to announce a landmark investment in food assistance for North Carolina veterans and families. Community support is needed now more than ever as we work to meet rising food insecurity head-on.
Federal cuts to agriculture and nutrition programs are fueling the worst hunger crisis in a generation — and our communities can't afford to let this trend continue. It's time for leaders in Washington to come together and restore vital funding for SNAP grocery support and farm-to-family programs.

Volunteers are the heart and soul of our work at the Food Bank. From sorting food in our warehouses, to distributing resources in the community, to advocating for stronger safety nets.
